Had an a accidental spree in the newly discovered charity shops of Hornchurch - a previously untapped (by me) treasure trove.

I have already enjoyed reading this book, but recount resist picking up a copy for £1 to share.

Here’s what I thought when I read this in 2010:
Just finished reading this very powerful book (& dried my eyes sufficiently to be able to type this out). I have never read a book quite like this. I loved the way it was written, the use of German, the recycling of Mein Kampf, the characters and their relationships with each other. At the end I cried, then felt relieved when I remembered it was just a story. But much worse did happen then. This story is going to stay with me for a very long time.

Going to a BookCrossing meet up in The Goose Pub, Walthamstow. If another BookCrosser doesn’t want this, it will go into a little free library when we have a walk about after food.

I picked this up to release as part of the Librarian SSM in April, as it has Book in the title.
