Short stories by P.D.James.
I really enjoyed these. A lovely flow and quirky English village murder style to the writing. A cosy read for snuggling in a blanket with a cup of tea or perhaps a port.
Somewhere in its past this volume has met an accident with either a swimming pool or a bathtub but it has been carefully dried out and is perfectly able to be read. There is one page missing towards the end of the book but it doesn't disturb the reveal of the who and how of the murder.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Released at 1st bookcrossing meetup after COVID lockdown
A nice short collection of crime short stories by one of the masters of English crime fiction. Wish I could be reading these in a cosy chair by a roaring log fire on Xmas day in England!
It obviously had gone for a swim with a previous owner, I'm quite tempted to see if I can iron the pages to repair some of the damage! :)
