DS Manon is working for the police in Cambridgeshire when Edith Hind disappears with the front door open, blood on the floor and coats all over the place. I like the way the tale is told from the view point of various characters involved, and includes personal lives and feelings as well as the police procedural. It includes a few twists and turns which add to the interest and intrigue.
