Great book! The translator did a very fine job but that's only as far as I know and I don't speak Italian. But I get a great sense of that location and the behavior of the people in it. There's a high degree of realism great character development dialogue and plotting. Some good suspense too. I'm looking forward to reading more by this author.

Found at Bodega, and just had to pick something to travel with for the way back just after Thanksgiving ;)

I enjoyed this series of books quite a lot (found the Italian versions, even better).
There is also a lovely TV series based on the books in this, I Bastardi di Pizzofalcone, on amazon tv, at least used to be

Received in a big fun box-o-books from aetm. This looks like an interesting read. Will either keep it and read it, or will release it somewhere in my travels :)
