The Eyre Affair

Whoo boy, thinking about time travel always makes my head hurt. Thursday Next is a welcome contrast to those idiotic chick lit twits that the Brits have been churning out.
This one has been recommended by several friends, so I was really happy to get it from ghir at our monthly meeting. Mahalo, Ma'am!
Fun and silly, as should be all time-travel romps. I liked the characters & will look for more in this series.
To librelover next.

To fanclub at our TOC brunch. Enjoy!
This one has been in Mt. TBR for quite some time. Having recently scaled the mighty mountain, I pulled this out and it is next up. :)
Why, oh why, did I wait so long to read this? Long enough that all the copies of the sequels have already left my little group??? Cause I'm an idiot, that's why.
This is an excellent book. There is so much wit here, and I am sure I did not even pick up on all the references. But, come on ... Jack Schitt? Richard III done as Rocky Horror? There is just nothing funnier out there. I really look forward to reading the rest of Fforde's series and his other books as well.
I am offering this to someone I think would enjoy it, and if they don't want to read it I will wild release.
