Excellent and very funny. Tom Holt at his best. Story about a loser, Paul Carpenter who gets a job with a company (JW Wells)who turn out to be a sorcers organisation. Paul has the hots for another new recruit , Sophie and the fun begins as he finds portable door which can take him to anywhere/any time. Needless to say there is a great plot to it and lots of laughs on the way. Great book and cant wait for the sequel (which is being written)

It's been an age since i read a Tom Holt book and i really enjoyed this one. The prose is very funny and the story moves at a great pace with some great characters. A great idea for a story and i look forward to reading the next in the series.
