Charlotte Kinder’s husband has just left her for another woman. Another woman called Justice. What a great fun to read. I enjoyed this novel much better than the first one.
First I did not really like Charlotte and thought her a bit boring. But her character improves on reading. The story has more gothic elements than lovestory elements and it is funny all along.
I wouldn' mind if this novel was turned into a movie too.

This book will be relesed at the Bookcrossing Convention 2019 in Mainz.

Thank you so much for reserving this book for me. It's not that I am into Jane Austen spin-offs. I enjoyed several of the author's books, Austenland among them, and even read her blog for a while.

I couldn't help but like Charlotte, though I really wanted to shake her once in a while when reading about how she let her husband treat her. It was nice to see her develop some courage. Also Hale's writing is perfectly fluffy without being too tacky. Enjoyed it a lot.
