I found this book in Little Free Library #102158 - Rissy's Room on Norbeck Road today when I was out trading books. I didn't discover it to even be a BookCrossing book until I was preparing to register it myself!

How it got from the Day of the Book festival in Kensington pre-pandemic to a nearby neighborhood I guess we will never know but I am excited that I can pass this one along again and be a part of the journey!

I had the chance to read this one before heading back to Oklahoma and I really enjoyed it. It is a story of learning to read but if you understand anything about the time and the place and the people involved you will understand the importance of the knowledge the boy would have gained from books and reading.

I am adding this one to the Gaithersburg pile.
