This is one of the best books I have ever read, both in terms of writing style and in terms of content. While selecting category I was wondering between literature and fiction or non fiction. Everybody should read it. The introductions are also very informative. It turns out that this book was inspired by a travel of Huxley to the United States. I cannot imagine what he would have thought if he had traveled today.
"A really efficient totalitarian state would be one in which the all-powerful executive of political bosses and their army of managers control a population of slaves who do not have to be coerced, because they love their servitude."
"Now -such is progress- the old men work, the old men copulate, the old men have no time, no leisure from pleasure, not a moment to sit down and think."
"Well, I'd rather be unhappy than have the sort of false, lying happiness you were having here."

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
In the area of Harvard Square, in Massachusetts Avenue in front of the Johnston Gate there is a small square named "General McArthur Square". Brave New World is hidden behind a traffic sign in that little square of "Tow Zone. No stopping any time". The book is hidden between the traffic sign and the traffic light post that sustain it and is protected from the rain by two plastic bags. Enjoy the hunt.
