Taken with me upon recommendation of dschinny, fills up my melting stock of English language books.
Recently I met dschinny, and again she mentioned, that 84 Charing Cross Road is one of her all time favorites. So I finally read it, and I liked it very much. I guess if the reader knows all the places in London it's even more fun. Or the descriptions of typical British behaviour. But even without these experiencesI loughed out loud a couple of times during reading. For example the description of taking the first shower in the hotel. ;-)
But besides that the book is also a reminder not to postpone things you want to do!

I have not read it, but have listened to the audiobook. That was nice, so I will take the book with me in the hope it will find new readers soon.
