There were 4 close friends who were law students, thousands of dollars in debt due to the corruption of a system that landed them in a low grade law school called The Foggy Bottom, who would take just about anyone, (no matter what his or her educational capabilities were), as long as they acquired the loans on the premise that when they graduated and secured a job they would earn such fantastic sums of money they could pay all the money back....after all, there was a fantastic array of law firms crying out for aspiring lawyers, where short working hours and fantastic fees could be earned wasn't there? Their polished brochures and web site assured them it was so.

When one of them commits suicide, the grieving friends get together at "The Rooster Bar", where one of them works part time as a bartender, and put together a plan to buck the loan sharks. They also leave the school before their last semester and change their names.

On the negative side I thought the two male students were immoral, arrogant, brash and very naive. On the positive side I loved their loyalty and solidarity towards each other and despite the inherent flaws in their master plan I was still rooting for them all the way even though what they did was so wrong.

At least a satisfying ending though!
