This is the second Hope Springs novel, following Friendship Cake.

Things aren't going too well for Charlotte, the pastor of the Hope Springs Community Church. After she struggles to revive a suicidal woman's faith after her daughter dies in a car wreck, she ends up seeking counseling for help with her own spiritual doubts. Margaret learns she has a lump in her breast, and is reluctant to tell her best friend, Jessie, since Jessie's husband has returned and wants her to move to California with him. Louise stays on the fringe, making the occasional pithy comment, but Beatrice is happy in her second marriage and having fun writing a gardening column.

Well, I was tricked! I purchased this book from a bargain book site because I love Lynne Hinton's Hope Springs stories. HOWEVER, this is the same book as one I already have, it just has a new title!! This book is the same as Hope Springs. I have no idea why one book was released with two different titles but how utterly confusing!

Since I certainly don't need two of the same book, I am going to surprise a fellow BookCrosser with this one! :)

What a thoughtful person you are to think of me with this sequel to Friendship Cake... I was SO delighted to get it-- I received the pkg just before I left town for the weekend and I vowed to journal it when I got back--- (Er, um... My organizational skills have been kind of sucky lately for some weird reason.) BTW...It is TWO weeks later and the suitcase is still right where I set it and I have not yet put away all the various things in it. Thanks so much. (as I hang my head in shame) I feel honored to have met such a thoughtful bookcrosser and downright unworthy of your kindness and generosity. Thank you.
