I bought the book because i wanted to know what judith gould's writing would be like. However, I am a person/reader who likes her books to be somehat unpredictable. This book is a smooth reader. although the story didnt sit comfortably with me for obvious emotional reasons, I am sure that someone out there will like the book more than i did.

To me, judith gould's writing is not outstanding. She tries to inject some sort of mystery into the story but fails rather miserably as the sypnosis at the back of the book gives the whole story away. The writing itself was not entirely emotional and didnt manage to squeeze any feelings from this heart of stone of mine.

I'd say...unless you have very low expectations, read it when you have nothing else to do and dont want a book that will keep your eyes glued to the pages.

I passsed the book to Tim who was on his way to Penang. I hope he has found some ingenious way to releasing the book and that it will travel.

Tim: A love story. Wife hatches plot to get beloved husband a new lover so that he wouldn't be lonely after she passes away. Not my type of book; just flipped through the pages to get the gist of it. Perhaps a fan might find it a good read. Released to Andy (who's beside me now at Starbucks, Prangin Mall, Penang).
