Not sure how this came into my hands.
Kazuo Ishiguro is a superb writer. I have put off reading this novel for some years being aware of the framework of the story. I thought it would be creepy and/or upsetting. Well, yes, it is a bit - when you have finished reading it and understand the whole - but what it is really about is identity and relationships and growing up, and they are explored in an unusual way.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Released at the May 2018 Sydney BookCrossing MeetUp. Second Tuesday evening each month.
Picked up at the regular meetup.
I initially thought this was by the author of "Kafka by the Shore" which I wasn't so enamoured of the talking cat. Looking more closely I see this is a different Japanese author who penned "Remains of the Day" which I haven't read but loved the movie.
I will hang onto this and try to find some time to read.
