A book from my childhood that I decided to reread, register, and pass along. This is a sweet children's story. I expected it to seem more dated than it did, since it was written in 1916! It has actually held up remarkably well in the century plus since then. I understand that Thornton Burgess was a naturalist and his descriptions of animal behavior seem very authentic and true to life.

Will release this book at the elementary school. I hope the finder enjoys it!

My 7 year old son is reading this every night and really enjoys it! There are interesting situations which keeps him motivated to read and find out what happens. I had never heard of this book, but glad we stumbled upon it!
