The Wicked & The Divine Volume 5: Imperial Phase I

This urban fantasy comic continues the basic concept of WicDiv: gods as popstars, popstars as gods. This arc is the beginning of the end. Some of the gods are already into the second year of their two-years of fame and power, counting months until their (inevitable?) teenage deaths, and with Ananke's death, they are starting to splinter into factions, becoming dangerously rudderless and neglecting the concerts and fans that brought them to power. To make matters worse, the threat of the reality of The Great Darkness suddenly looms over them.
This volume opens with a clever set of celebrity magazine-style interviews and fashionable photoshoot-like art of several of the gods, designed to show the gods from the viewpoint of all the normal people inhabiting the WicDiv 'verse. It even features an ad for Persephone's tie-in cellphone!
This arc has not been one of my favorites, but it is well-executed. The art is really outstanding, and there are a lot of interesting storytelling and layout choices.
