I had never bothered to read this book until the movie came out. I have yet to see the movie, but hearing about it made me want to read the book. (This seems to be a running trend with me)
Have you ever wondered what it was like to go back in time? In Timeline, an archeaoligist goes back to the time of kings and lords, tournaments and wars, out of curiousity. He ends up getting stuck, and his students (and fellow scientists on a dig) go back to find him and bring him back to the present. It's a very interesting story, I could hardly put it down!
