Found this in a National Trust second hand Book Shop to go with another book I wished to send to another bookcrosser.

Very indicative of people's attitudes toward conditions like dyslexia, children born out of wedlock and domestic abuse during the 1950s. Kitty Neale's life experiences have enabled her to write with detailed knowledge of the parts of London where she grew up.

I will read it ASAP. I'd like to try and finish my alphabet challenges first, and I think I have a K, N and a L. (Alphabet challenge is a year long challenge, where you try and read a book by an authour/Title of every letter of the alphabet)
