This good condition paperback was donated to the Cameo Café bookshelf.
It tells the story of Mavis Pugh, who was despised and abused throughout her teenage years so turned to the first man who showed her kindness. However her husband soon turned out to be a violent bully. When she finds a new love her first husband is still watching her...................

When re-releasing this book please be aware that airports are not a good place to leave books unless they have a specific book exchange shelf or area, due to security problems, so they may well just be disposed of. Also charity shops may well discard books that have been labelled in any way and they mostly chose only the books in the very best condition
to place on their shelves and discard the rest-so another bad release option.

Borrowed today from the Cameo Café by Evelyn. Evelyn is a regular user of the bookshelf and enjoys the facility although she doesn't have internet access to journal her borrowings.
