Your generous box of books arrived today. This book was in the box. I never heard of this book so I will put it on my shelf to read.
This book left me wanting. I do not like The way Thea was treated by the adults in her life. The book is the story of Thea and her thoughts. The description of the sex scenes was totally unneeded and distracting, especially when it involved an adult with a teenager.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Enjoy! For the ABC 3 book bookring
Selected from the ABC bookring
Thea has lived a very sheltered life, surrounded only be her small family - her parents, her twin brother, her cousin, and his parents, Thea's uncle and aunt. When Thea's cousin starts to pay more attention to her, more attention than a cousin should give, Thea doesn't recognize the advances as inappropriate until after it is too late. This one event propels the next set of events which ultimately ends up with Thea being sent away to the Yonahlossee Riding Camp for Girls.
The camp is Thea's first real experience with people outside of her family. She has to learn how to live among other girls and staff as well as continue with her education and lessons in being a lady. Through all this, Thea is haunted with her past and feelings of abandonment. She desires acceptance from the adults in her life as she tries to fill a void which used to be filled by her family.
Through a series of bad decisions on Thea's part (and others' bad decisions as well), Thea's life start to spin out of control. When all the mistakes seem to come to a head, Thea is able to recognize her role and is able to pull herself together and finally start to make positive decisions (big, life-changing decisions) for herself.
Overall, I enjoyed the book. There were some uncomfortable sections, which I think ultimately made Thea a stronger woman.

I haven't even heard of this one, but am a fan of some of the authors blurbing it--looking forward to reading it. Thank you!
