A nice little suprise in my mailbox today, thanks to ILuvToRead2!! Extra special, since I just celebrated my 37th birthday this weekend! I've been waiting to read this, and will journal again once I do.
Forensic sculptor Eve Duncan has been summoned to Baton Rouge by a high ranking government official to identify the remains of an unknown murder victim. Eve wants nothing to do with the project. She has finallyt found peace from her own tragic past, living a quietlife with Atlanta Detective Joe Quinn and her adopted daughter, Jane. Then a stunning series of seemingly unrelated events turns Eve's new world upside down....
This was the second Eve Duncan book of Jonansen's I've read (the first was Face of Deception) and I enjoyed this one, as well! Jane was a new character for me, so I will have to go back and read some of the earlier books to see how she found her way into Eve and Joe's life. Good storyline with some interesting characters. I will probably read more of this series.
