This is the fourth book in the Millennium series, and the first one written by David Lagercrantz, after the death of the series creator, Stieg Larsson. I am a big fan of Larsson's first three books and Lisbeth Salander is an intriguing character. Larsson was the author that started my fascination with Nordic crime fiction. So I was not sure if I wanted to read this one. I was afraid it would not measure up. On a whim, I picked it up to see whether I would enjoy the series with a different author.
The book did not impress me as much as the first three. It could be because when I read the first book, it was very different from other crime fiction I read and Lisbeth was such a mystery. The book was still enjoyable and quite nicely plotted. I just was not as impressed as before. It was good enough that I would be happy to read the next book.

Releasing to Brookler in person. Happy reading!
I had my first meet-up with a bookcrosser and we traded books. I'm excited to get this one, having enjoyed reading three others in this series. Thanks mcsar.
I wasn't very impressed by the first 75 pages of this book, which were boring with a confusing array of characters, but I'm very glad I persevered because the rest of it was riveting! I could hardly put it down.
