Wonderful, sensual novel of love. Romantic, fulfilling, and a quick read. I bought it in 1994 when I had to replace my transmission & was stuck in 100 Mile House on the way home to Vancouver. It almost made the repair bill worthwhile. Almost.

This is a lovely little read... intoxicating in a way that only true love and good food can be. I love the folkloric way in which it was written. The characters could have stood to develop a little better, though.
