Detailed convoluted and gripping, this is tense and fast paced. Enzo has two daughters at threat here, but in significantly different ways! [Some spoilers ahead as this series has me gripped and keeping notes without including the odd spoiler is seriously tricky.]

Loved the whole kitchen confidential angle most fascinating, and this time Enzo manages to get his chefing crazy daughter Sophie behind the scenes as his undercover mole. Of course as he comes to understand just how close to the situation a murderer may be this causes him no end of torment and rightly so as in the last gasp here Sophie’s life is placed in grave danger. Enzo’s torments with Charlotte and the baby Laurent continue and in the midst of all this there are revelations about the parentage of his Scottish daughter Kirsty left in Scotland with her mother at the tender age of twelve. Kirsty is now however living in Paris and involved with a man Enzo’s previous lover Charlotte is convinced is dangerous. So Enzo while tracking down answers to the mystery of an unexplained murder carried out faces fresh distress with his family both new and old though in effect it all brings him to re-build a bridge with his half-brother Jack.

Be aware Mr F9 I have the completion of this series to send you so no need to scurry off and buy more. Though oh dear, I’ve just recalled there is that awkward matter of book three BLACKLIGHT BLUE missing-in-action in my flat. I will send it on as soon as I find it though!

UPDATE - WED 29 AUG 2018: organisational hic-cups meant alteration to my posting schedule. In the end the total number of late BIRTHDAY BOOKCROSSING parcels totalled five, each under 2 kg’s in weight. These all entered the Postal system last thing today and will be picked up and processed on Thursday 30 August.
PS Rummaging for “BLACKLIGHT BLUE missing-in-action in my flat” has not been forgotten. This will get chased up but if you are champing at the bit please give my elbow a jog!

Arrived in Somerset as part of Mr Flutterbies9's bumper birthday set of packages.

I will have to get this series in order for Mr Flutterbies9 but with tbr having just been added to in spectacular fashion, I'm not sure how long he will take to get around to it!

Well, Mr Flutterbies9 has not only got around to this but has completed it in under a week! (That is very quick for him!)

He says that he really thought this was a good book and built on the previous books from the series. He is also looking forward to reading more of these, however, he did not wish to tell me too much as he wants to encourage me to read this series as well and I have yet to start them.

I have another copy of this book on my tbr so I will release this copy - probably in a book box.
