Robyn Carr's Informed Risk reminded me of the Thunder point series, though I'm not exactly sure why. I liked this story quite a bit. However, it took a little bit to get into A Hero for Sophie Jones. It may have been me, but I set it aside for a couple weeks and then picked it up again. Something about Sinclair Riker's character grated on me at first, but the story ended up being a sweet one.
