Native Tongue

This chuckle-bound whodunnit chronicles the investigation of the abduction of a pair of precious "blue-tongued mango voles" from the "Amazing Kingdom" theme park in Florida.
Given to the girl from the southern side of the bed for travel fodder.
i came home from work to find this on my chair. thanks, baby!
Native Tongue made for fun, quick reading and I finished it in two weekends. The story was creative, the characters were lively, and the plot was deliciously complicated, yet fairly easy to keep track of. The book was a fine mix of bunny-hugging environmentalism, blood and gore, mushy poetry, raunchy cursing, romance, treachery, and MUCH, MUCH MORE!! :)
This lucky book has won an all-expenses-paid trip to humid, mosquito-infested New Orleans, where it will frolic with the shadiest mango in the land.
I caught this book by snatching it from my own mailbox (graciously sent by puddinhed)... and I plan to read it!... and then send it on to someone else, or back to puddinhed if she wants it.
