The Midnight Library
7 journalers for this copy...
I was intrigued by the concept, but found the execution a little lacking. It was interesting enough to make me want to keep reading, but felt like it was missing something somehow. Hopefully the next reader will enjoy it more!

Caught at the December 2020 BX Meetup at Duke's Bistro, Wellington.
I really enjoyed this - it was a similar concept to 'Life After Life' by Kate Atkinson, in that different lives are possible with completely different endings.

A quick and enjoyable read, however I have read far superior books with the same concept (life after life, the 13 lives of Harry August).
There is a repetition of the themes throughout the chapters that make it more fitting for a YA book.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
If you aren't familiar with Bookcrossing, take a few minutes to check out this very cool site. Bookcrossers LOVE books, and more than anything, they love to read books and then set them free for other people to find and enjoy. I would love it if you would leave a journal entry -- you can say where you found the book or how you liked it when you read it.

Billsbooks pushed this one towards me today. I actually have a copy on my TBR shelf and also sent another copy travelling via the Oz VBB a few weeks back, but that's a book quite in demand so I thought I'd bring it back with me to send it travelling in another part of town. Thanks Billsbooks!

An interesting, if not somewhat fanciful story about Nora, a young woman who decided to take her own life. Rather than ending her life, she was given a number of opportunities to change her life story after visiting the midnight library and being given guidance by her library teacher from her childhood.
It did make me think more about the fact that our life could have turned out totally different if we changed even one small thing in our life.
