Thank you for a wishlist book and other holidays gifts :)
A first-person narrative of PC Peter Grant. Ghosts, vampires, witches and river spirits of his story were almost too much for me. I prefer crimes to be solved without the supernatural. Fortunately Grant has a funny and appropriately ironic style. I also liked the idea of Punch and Judy performance in the story.
