I picked up several books at the Bookcrossing Convention; some for reading and others for release. However, this book is going into my permanent collection. I rarely keep (hoard) books; evidenced by my small bookcase, but this is one of the best series of books I have read in years. I read this book as part of a book ring and had to post it on. Thank you.

My review:
What a great book, a page turner! I loved the concept of all this existing by the 'old boys' network'; a sexist term, but hopefully today 'old girls' as well. Makes a refreshing change from the 'government' trying to catch people who are different, such as wizards. The one negative from my viewpoint was that the most interesting character, Senior Inspector Nightingale didn't have a bigger part.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:

I managed to buy a good condition second-hand copy of this book, to replace this book in my permanent collection. This book is therefore again released.

Released at our Bookcrossing meet, beside Gungahlin Pond, Nicholls, ACT.
The day was lovely and sunny, we spaced ourselves around a table, and nearby the sun sparkled off the water.
Enjoy the book :)

What a great book, different storyline to anything I have read before. Very enjoyable and well-written, although I did pick up a typo which seems to be more often than not these days.
I'll take it to the next bookcrossing meetup later this month and see if there is a new reader.

Released at the November meet up of Canberra bookcrossers at the City Labor Club.

Picked up at City Labor Club last year and took with me to read on my trip.
I didn't enjoy it. Crime or fantasy are not my favourites and combining them didn't endear the book to me, I didn't finish it.
Leaving it today in the breakfast room at Glenferrie Lodge in Kirribilli Sydney. I hope the finder will enjoy it as much as others have.
