I received this book on Relay. I've actually had it for a few weeks and put it aside and forgot to journal it. I will journal it again, once I've read it passed it on.

I am taking this with me when I go on vacation to Las Vegas next week. I hope to finish it and wild release it before I leave.

Well I never got to it on vacation. It came home with me and I offered it on The Fresh Meat!!! Another Reverse Wish List Relay. I got behind on my TBRs that I've owed and this one has been promised to Herbwench for awhile. I plan on sending it out today.

I loved this book, first off its great to see a plus sized character. I wish she had less issues with her weight, but unfortunatly that is how most plus sized woman are. I like that fac that the author portrays her as active, the genral public thinks of fat people as lazy, people who would never dream of exercising.
I was very surprised by the pregnancy which I thought was a great twist. Most books nowdays you read the back cover and can pretty much predict everything that will happen. It was a nice suprise and changed the whole book from what I thought it would be.
Finally, I was so glad she didn't stay skinny at the end. I hate those types of books where the heroine has to lose weight before her life comes togther. Get real! I will probably be thinking of this book for days, as I usually do with books I enjoy. I'm sure eventually I will have to go out and get a copy for my permanent collection.

Not my favorite by Jennifer Weiner. I liked 'In Her Shoes' much better, although that took me a while to get into as well. I had a hard time finishing this as I didn't find the lives of the characters interesting enough to keep my attention. Not a great book in my opinion, but not dreadful either. I hope the next person to get it enjoys it much more!
