WILD RELEASE NOTES:
On the cash stand.
I found this on the Sak's Restaurant counter at the Flying J Travel Plaza. I work over on the truck stop side and I was excited to actually find one, since I had forgotten BookCrossing was a thing. I've had it for a few weeks now but only started it this week (whoops, sorry TheHarvestQueen). So far I'm loving Clara's story but finding it hard to get in to Izzy's. Can't wait to leave it on the counter for someone else (what can I say, I'm lazy and that's probably the best way to get it out of town), but it'll be a few more days before I have time to finish!
This was a very difficult book for me to read on a personal level. I have depression, anxiety, and PTSD, plus I'm pansexual. All of these were once reasons for me to be locked away in an asylum like one of the main characters of the book. I had to read it in chunks, but I think it was still worth it. I enjoyed both of the stories immensely, and while the ending was a bit short and forced, it still neatly tied the plot together. A good read, but probably won't be something I visit again and again.
I will be releasing the book tomorrow night when I return to work. The counter at Sak's still seems like a great place to help it travel along.
