This Book is Currently in the Wild!
3 journalers for this copy...
Bought second-hand specifically for bookcrossing (my own copy is a prized possession that won't be being bookcrossed!).
Margaret Atwood is a fabulous writer, and I think this is one of the more accessible of her books. It tells the story of a woman returning to her home town, and reassessing the events of her childhood. It's a few years since I last read it, but there are images from it that have stayed incredibly clear in my mind, like the incident on the bridge.
If you've never read any Atwood before, then you should immediately read this and The Handmaid's Tale. And then go out and buy ever other book she's ever written! :-)
Registered for the "Race to a million" bookcrossing challenge.
