Journal Entry 2 by PyryJere at a fellow bookcrosser, By Mail/Post/Courier -- Controlled Releases on Wednesday, September 22, 2021
8.10.2021 I picked up a package of books and this was one in the package. Thank you for fulfilling my wish, PyryJere!
Yay! Received as a rabck from hetku77 thank you. Do let me know if there's anything amongst my availables that you'd like in future :-)
I tried hard with this. It started off very interesting, but as the story got further in I got bored. By the halfway point I asked myself, 'why am I reading this?' and decided to give up. After reading a synopsis on Wikipedia afterwards, I''m glad I made that decision. I don't think I would've enjoyed the second half.
I think part of the problem was that I found Jenny a far more interesting character than Garp, and as her role in the plot grew smaller, there was nothing left to keep pulling me in.
