What Unites Us: Reflections on Patriotism is the title, and effectively describes this book by a well known and well respected American newsman. Subject titles include Freedom, Community, Exploration, Responsibility, and Character. These are positive, uplifting essays pointing out what is good about The United States of America while admitting our flaws and encouraging us to live up to our ideals.
I enjoyed the book and recommend it.

It was a gift from my son.
