I got this slightly-battered ex-library softcover from Better World Books. It's a story about a world within a comic book - and the book itself alternates between text and the graphic-novel pages of the story-within-the-story.

The story itself deals with rumors that a certain ritual will cause you to be swept away to Malice, the world inside the comic book. When two kids lose one of their friends to this ritual they begin to take it more seriously, and go on a quest to retrieve him - but will they be able to get back themselves?

I left the book on a stone wall at the Old Man of the Mountain Memorial site at around 4 on this beautiful day. Hope the finder enjoys the book!
