My thoughts...I didn't like this book as well as others I have ready by this author. Nicholas has become an overnight success with his bestselling novel that had also been made into a movie. His instant celebrity and wealth have changed him and not for the better. He is at an exclusive resort with his girlfriend to work on his next novel. He does not have another idea for a second novel. His first novel was written from his personal experience. Will he be a one hit wonder"?

I loved Nicolas' personal journey in The Other Story.

Nicolas became an overnight sensation when he wrote his first book. The book became a movie and Nicolas has been riding the wave of his fame ever since. With his instant fame, Nicolas has also become very vain and inconsiderate. Those closest to him are closing him out as he is becoming unbearable to be around. New people are working their way into his life. His new "friends" such as his girlfriend, Malvina, and the fan, Sabina, who keeps texting him sexually explicit messages are using him for what they can get out of him and he is blinded by their adoration. Just when it seems his world is crashing down around him, he become witness to a traumatic accident and it seems to bring Nicolas back to reality and what is really important.
