The first in Penny's Inspector Gamache series. Wonderful.
Gamache and his team are called out to a little village called Three Pines. An old woman, an artist, well loved, kindly to all, has been found dead in the woods. This is a great start to a great series. I have read most of the others and was aways intrigued by the characters. So I was quite happy to find the starting point. I was not disappointed.
