This is a book about a Senator who is thrust into a political world sooner than he would have liked. While running for President, there are skeletons in the closet that visit; other politicians are determined to stop him; and yet others want him dead.

I usually skip ahead to the end, but this time I forced myself not to. There were some surprises, especially at the end, that I never saw coming. However, most of the book was fairly predictable. All in all, an enjoyable read.
