An engaging and well written thriller. The tension is intensified by the authors use of a book-within-a-book technique to tell the story of a housebound woman trying to solve the cold case murder of her sister. The story seems to lose it's way a bit in the middle, and some of the plot points are repeated (confusingly), but the story picks up again at the end. At times the "twists" seem a big gimmicky, but overall a very good mystery.
