1 journaler for this copy...
This is a semi-fictional account of the life of the Russian composer Shostakovich. It examines the idea and nature of art and creativity under the conditions of totalitarian government. I found it quite a thought-provoking read and an interesting discussion of the timelessness and durability of art.
Planning to wild release this one to find it a new reader.
