The Blind Assassin

I am sending this book to a friend.
This was a marathon read with a story within a story, flipping back in time from the present day to the main character's childhood and early adulthood. It is certainly a solid plot and was a good read but I did find the "blind assassin" bits somewhat tedious.

I picked this up at the BCUK Hampshire meet in Winchester. I like Margaret Atwood's books and am looking forward to reading this. It may take me a while to get round to reading it though, I have a rather large TBR pile at the moment.
I'm giving this to Ragtimebabe to read on holiday.
