Brought from Awesome Books. I had wanted this one for so long I had quite forgotten why. Started mid-May 2013 and realised that it was the openning in Hong Kong I was keen on and then the travels to disputed islands occupied by Taiwan. I wondered which these were Penghu although sounding right seems a little too far from the mainland and Kinmen too close.

A very typical set up for this author; a new but damaged Captain takes over a ship on its last legs along with a disgruntled crew - all to sail into a troubled situation. Dated, but a rip-roaring finish with the usual mayhem, destruction and captain vindicated.
