It seems I'm often loosing things: books, keys, my way. So loosing my nose, having her dress up and torment me isn't such a strange scenario. Once again, we are in dire overcoat weather. It's February, the worst time for winter here in Georgia. I hope that those investing in "end of season" overcoats or receiving overcoats as gifts won't find having a new garment the life-changing sort of experience described here. This tiny, tiny paperback contains two stories by the Ukrainian master of fiction, Nikolai Gogol. These very small books were issued back in 1995 to celebrate Penguin publisher's 60th anniversary. I have enjoyed a few of these and find that they are good for bookcrossing. They work well as little gifts and as wild releases too.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:

This is a wanted book! I'm sending it out to Texas to fulfill a bookcrossing wish.

I am fond of these little editions as they are beloved in bookcrossing:

Grimm's Fairytales has been making the rounds in Europe:

I did release another copy of this particular Penguin 60s to piggyback Jhumpa Lahiri's novel, THE NAMESAKE. That book did very well making the rounds in bookcrossing:

Thank you so much for sending this little treasure to me! I became interested in reading The Overcoat due to its connection with The Namesake http://www.bookcrossing.com/journal/5060483/ and am delighted to have the opportunity to read it now.
