Poor little book, you have been haunting the shadowlands long enough and now it is time to rest.

Journal Entry 5 by BookCemetery on Saturday, April 30, 2005

The dreadfully mutilated remnants of this poor departed Reading Companion arrived at the Book Cemetery today, 30 April 2005. A very emotional Memorial Service was held in the Great Hall so as to accomodate the huge congregation that attended. The tiny casket was then cremated and the ashes scattered around the four corners of the Book Cemetery at the special request of the Chief Mourner, crimson-tide, so as to signify the "Occupation by the Four Powers". The Choir rendered the very moving "For You Alone" as the congregation wept in great anguish and pain.

The Management and Staff offer sincere condolences at this sad time.

R.I.P.

As a special Memorial Consideration, the Management has offered q147au a place on the Book Crossing Memorial Cross Country Team, to represent bookcrossing at the next meet.
