Joan Makes History
3 journalers for this copy...
I have a guilty passion for second hand books, and while searching for shelf space for a new acquisition, I realised I have two copies of this book (and both unread).
So, registering and popping this one in the post for Edwardstreet, with the best of intentions of reading the other copy and returning here someday to journal.
This copy has a different cover to the image above also.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
received this Wishlist book as part of the 2015 SCBE, would have read for for the 666 challenge but have already ticked that off, now on it's way back across the ditch as part of the Australasia Wishlist tag. will note it on the Australian Women author's forum.
A perfect candidate for the 666 challenge because this is An imagined Herstory of Australia.
Joan is the lead character who Grenville pops into scenes some momentous and some very ordinary, that stretch across the early days of Australian history. An interesting, well written read. some chapters are stand alone and in others Joan picks up from an earlier chapter. recommended
