I read this mystery novel several years ago, prior to starting to BookCross. This particular copy came from my dad, and I am very glad to have it to release. Still Life is the first book in Louise Penny's Chief Inspector Gamache series, set in Three Pines, Quebec. It is followed by A Fatal Grace, a copy of which I have also registered here on BookCrossing.

This is an enjoyable cozy mystery series -- intelligent and literary.

Will look for a good release spot at the park. It's a fairly mild, sunny January day!
