I think I did read it along time ago but will read it again.
This is about Faith, who is an actress, whose (scuzzy) husband leaves her alone with two small children, one of which is sick. When the sick child, Becca, cannot safely travel any more with the acting company, Faith is stranded in a small town in Wyoming with no way to provide for herself and children.
Drake has moved out west from Philadelphia after an accident that killed his mother and left him scarred and half-blind. He has secluded himself from the rest of the world. His ranch foreman has hired Faith as a housekeeper. When they arrive, Faith and her children turn his world upside down. They plan a life together untill her husband, who is believed to be dead, comes back.

It has been awhile since I have read a western:) For the most part I thought this book was cute, yet predictable...
It has a beauty and the beast-type feel to it, Drake being the tortured hero and Faith coming to love and accept him for all he is, and of course you have the villan that shows up to stir things up a bit. Overall, it was a nice, easy read through a hectic holiday season.
