Ten Little Indians

Bought at a library sale, for BookCrossing.
Finished this book - it took me a few chapters to realize that the title was telling me it's about a bunch of different Indians! Once I figured it out I would start each new chapter with expectation and anticipation of what kind of person Alexie would invent next. All were interesting, all were realistic, and I have to say this guy writes really well.

I was surprised to find a free book in the grocery store check out lane. I love to read and was between books, so i brought it home. I enjoyed the book...one more chapter to go. I know next to nothing about American Indians, but have learned a little about them. A good read, not one I would have chosen to buy, but happy to have a free copy to read. Now...where to leave this gem for the next reader!
This book had walked to the Check Out lane at the store...not the indian corn display. I'm glad, or I wouldn't have found it.
