This book had very mixed reviews so clearly some people liked it. It's also labelled as a NY Times bestseller. I did not like it at all, and I am not going to waste my time saying why. This Good Reads reviewer sums up my feelings pretty much:
" ≤i≥The Husband's Secret by Liane Moriarty sounds fine in theory. A woman finds a hidden letter written years ago by her husband that contains a secret that could change or ruin many lives. It also follows two other women and their stories of love and heartbreak are intertwined with the first plot line.
Bu the characters are weak with no character development. I found the book poorly written and repetitive."

Picked up to read over a two-hour flight. Perfect for that. Utter rubbish. I am at a loss to know how it came to be a New York Times bestseller as well as a bestseller in the UK. The plot is contrived and implausible, the characters unlikeable and their motivations unfathomable and incredible.
However, I have offered it to the OZ VBB, as while I didn't like it, others clearly do.
