I got this collection of BPRD one-shots and bonus stories as part of a lot during Con or Bust's fundraiser auction. It features stories by many different writers and artists and is a nice sampler of folks working on this and related series.
My favorite stories were:
"Abe Sapien versus Science", which features the introduction of a new character in a gracefully simple short tale.
"Hollow Earth" is the longest tale here, and does a great job of showing the relationships and friendships of the BPRD team, meshing horror and humor together.

This book is one of the volumes starting out in my Manga/Graphic Novel Relay Game

Definitely the one I wanted to take out of the game as soon as I saw it! I'd love to get reading it immediately, but since comics are to be savoured, I'll have to save it for a short while... Thank you for starting the relay game, emmejo!

I absolutely loved the album! Dark but beautiful strips, strong but very lively drawing. I can't pick a single favourite of the stories, they were all brilliant in their own way. Compared to Hollow Earth, The Killer in My Skull was way too simple, but that's just because they were read one after another! I didn't even miss Hellboy from the lineups, instead other characters were evolved into more interesting and versatile ones.

Took this home for my hubby to read. Seemed like he enjoyed it, even though I can't recall him saying anything more about it than "pretty good adventure" or something like that...

I took the book from meet-up table (just couldn't bear seeing it go wild just yet) and offered it forward on Finnish forum. It got snapped up quickly and now it's waiting to travel forward to next reader...

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
Book's all packed up and it'll take a little trip to the next keen reader!
The book is here! Thank you!
Quite a good collection of comic book stories! I liked the drawing styles. The title story Hollow Earth was my favourite, but all stories were at least alright. Still, I think I would've gotten more out of these stories if I've read more Hellboy comics. (I've seen the Hellboy movies though, that helped.)
I took this comic book to our local geek women comics meet-up and it is now with my friend.
I noticed this on the bookcrossing table of Sampola library lobby after all these years. I left it there to look for new readers.
